Autumn is dressing up season, and at Ravensburger Spieleland the ghosts move in for the last weeks of the year. The family park of Ravensburger by Lake Constance in southern Germany has announced its Halloween programme: from 26 October until the end of the season, families can visit a haunted house, carve pumpkins and decorate gingerbread. On two evenings, part of the park also stays open when it gets dark.
A haunted house with six rooms
The heart of the spooky fun is the themed area “Grüne Oase”, the Green Oasis. Its haunted house has six different rooms with a puzzle trail and plenty of small scares that even the youngest guests can handle. For an extra fee, children can also carve pumpkin ghosts and paint gingerbread, the kind of autumn craft that ends up on the windowsill at home.

Two evenings in mystical light
On 29 and 30 October 2026 the Green Oasis shows a different side. The area is illuminated and open until 6 pm. Selected attractions such as the tractor ride and the pony riding track are bathed in mystical light, as are the entrance area and the haunted house. At 5.15 pm a kids disco with plenty of monster spirit gets everyone dancing.
Two extras make this year special. The BRIO Express runs a lap of the park in the dark, and Scotland Yard, which Ravensburger calls a world first, is open for park visitors.
Season pass 2027 at a reduced price
Families who already know they will be back next year can plan ahead. From 23 October to 1 November 2026, the season pass for 2027 costs 103 euros per person. It is valid on as many opening days of the coming season as you like, for the more than 70 attractions, and comes with further benefits for pass holders. It can be bought at the park or online.
The park in numbers
Ravensburger Spieleland opened in 1998. Its hands-on concept is aimed at children aged two to twelve, who explore, learn and play together with their parents. Every year 460,000 visitors come to the more than 70 attractions in eight themed worlds. Since 2016 families can also stay overnight: the park’s own holiday village has 40 holiday houses, ten small Swedish style cabins and the BRIO train with 20 sleeping carriages. On top of that there are 40 caravan pitches and, in the summer months, 24 tent pitches.
Our take
For families in southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the Halloween weeks are a good reason for one last outing before the season ends. The two illuminated evenings are the highlight for children who are rarely allowed out after dark, and the cheaper season pass pays off for anyone who already has the park on next year’s list.
