famiana started at a kitchen table in Palma with two laptops, three children and a fridge door covered in notes. Every family we knew had the same door: the school calendar, the dentist card, the holiday brochure, the drawing of the house. We wanted a website that felt like that door, only sorted.
What you will find here
Twelve sections that cover the practical side of family life in Europe, with a soft spot for Spain and Mallorca where we live. Each section has its own topics, plain answers to common questions and a small interactive tool that answers the question you were about to type into a search engine.
How we work
- Written by parents, checked against official sources, updated when rules change.
- No sponsored rankings. If a hotel, product or school is listed, it is because we would send a friend there.
- No tracking, no cookie banner. The tools store your entries in your own browser and nowhere else.
- English on famiana.com, German on famiana.de, because our readers come from a dozen countries.
